A base transceiver station or BTS or cell site is defined as a piece of the equipment which facilitates the wireless communication between the user equipment (UE) and a network. UEs are the devices such as mobile phones (handsets), WLL phones, computers with the wireless internet connectivity, WiFi and WiMAX gadgets and so on.
