Some of the other common law rules regarding contracts completed through minors, the dissimilarity among void and voidable agreements is important in this context as well as in another context. From its inception, as void contract is a nullity so that it is not really a contract at all and thus cannot be enforced by whichever party. Voidable contract could be terminated by one or possibly both the parties but is in force unless and until one party acts to bring it to an end.
