There are two types of major boundaries:
a) Internal Application Boundary
b) External Application Boundary
The external application boundary can be recognized by the following litmus test:- The best litmus test is to ask yourself that whether you have full access to the system or not. If you have rights to make changes in the system then it is an internal application boundary, and if not then it is an external application boundary.
