In crustaceans, the pair of excretory organs termed as green glands exists. The green glands gather residuals from the blood and other portions of the body. They are joined by ducts to excretory pores situated beneath the base of the antennae and such pores liberate the excretions outside.
In insects small structures termed as malpighian tubules collect wastes from the blood and throw them into the excretory ducts which open in the intestine. In such animals excretions are removed together with feces.
