In each and every segment (or metamere) of being a pair of complete excretory structures termed as metanephridium exists.

The metanephridium has an extremity, the nephrostoma that collects residuals from the coelom, filtering them and causing re-absorption all along its extension (identical to human nephron tubules). The material to be excreted goes out via a pore, the nephridiopore that opens in the body surface.
