DNA replication two DNA molecules
As a consequence of DNA replication two DNA molecules come in existence. Why is it not accurate to assert that two ‘new’ DNA molecules are created? What is name given to procedure relating to that fact?
Expert
Throughout replication each chain of DNA molecule acts by the pairing new nucleotides and after procedure two newly formed chains made with union of these nucleotides seem. Then two DNA molecules are generated, each with one chain from the original molecule and one new chain formed through the new nucleotides. Consequently it is not totally correct to assert that the replication creates two new molecules of the DNA. It is better to avow that two new half-molecules are generated. For this occurrence DNA replication is named as semi-conservative replication.
