Audio Interchange File Format (or AIFF) is an audio file format standard employed for storing sound data for personal computers and other electronic audio devices. This format was developed by Apple. AIFF format used on Macintosh and Amiga computers.
ii) WAVE (or WAV):
Short for Waveform Audio File Format, (not often as well named Audio for Windows) is a Microsoft and IBM audio file format standard for storing an audio bitstream on personal computer. It is an application of the RIFF bitstream format technique for storing data in chunks.
