Micro kernel is a system kernel which runs itself in the protected memory and all the other processes in a separate memory so as to give better stability. All non-essential components are eliminated from the kernel and implemented as the system and user level programs. This leaves behind a smaller kernel which gives different benefits like easiness of probability and extension of the operating system, better reliability and security.
