As per the definition, warehousing refers to the organization and storage of the data from the variety of sources so that it may be analyzed and retrieved easily. OLAP deals along with the software and process of analyzing the managing aggregations, data, and partitioning the information into the cubes for in-depth analysis, retrieval and the visualization. Some vendors are substituting the term OLAP along with the terms analytical software and the business intelligence.
