Explain the Data pointer register?
Expert
The data pointer register or DPTR consists of high byte (DPH) and a low byte (DPL) functions to hold the 16 bit address. It can be manipulated as 16-bit data register or as independent 8-bit registers. It serves as the base register in the indirect jumps, look up the table instructions and the external data transfer.
