Categorization of the light sources
Describe the categorization of the light sources. Explain each in brief.

The various light sources are described below:
a) Point Source: This is the simplest model for a light emitter. In this rays from the source follow radically diverging paths from the source position that is, sources like LED’s or small bulbs.
b) Parallel Source: This is to be noted that whenever point sources is at an infinite distance then the light rays are parallel and acts as parallel source.
c) Distributed Light Source: It models close by sources like the long fluorescents light which are modeled in the category of distributed light source. In this all light rays originate at a finite area in the space.
