Areas apart from marketing

Have you ever applied to any other areas apart from marketing?

If your answer is in yes (and it is quite reasonable for it to be so) then we have a reason for your interest in the other areas. Other occupations are obviously related like Sales, Market Research, Advertising, Public Relations work, Promotional work etc.

This shows that must be some common abilities between the other occupations and Marketing. Alternatively this demonstrate as attraction is different and of a lesser degree than Marketing. This show that the job in question attracts you the most and that there is no sense of you being inconsistent in your applications. In the other organization you have applied to will interest your interviewer let make them believe that you have researched the field well. But make them sure that they are the first choice you do not want to put them off!
