In The Prince, Machiavelli spends a considerable amount of time discussing how to deal with the necessity of fortune. What is fortune and how does Machiavelli advise Lorenzo de Medici to deal with it? [Hint: use the entire book to make your case. Dealing with fortune is also tied to being good and bad-but you will need to discuss that tie.]
