First locate your U. S. senators, U.S. representative, and state legislator using the search links below. Write a letter to one of your members of the U.S. Congress and your state legislator.
Texas is the state. The issue is Allowing Nurse practitioners to be able to write their own prescriptions without a supervising physician.
In these letters identify:
a) the issue
b) why it is an issue
c) how it affects patient care and outcomes
d) how it restricts practice
e) a suggestion for removing such barriers
