A standard (incandescent) light bulb uses a hot tungsten coil to produce a thermal
radiation spectrum. The temperature of this coil is typically about 3,000 K.
do you expect the light from a standard bulb to be the same as, redder
than, or bluer than the light from the Sun which has a surface temperature of 5,800 K?
Why?
