Assignment: Trend Of Craft Beer Reflective Report
One of the growing trends of the last decade is the growth of the "Craft Beer" culture here in British Columbia. With dozens of new pubs, brewpubs and breweries opening each year, there are more choices and experiences for the beer consumer than ever before. For your assignment you will need to write a brief report on the beginning of the micro brewing movement and on how local beers/breweries impact local pubs purchasing decisions. During this first part of your report you should be including some of the information that you experience during your trip to The Bard and Banker and the talk and tour that you had there(Please prepare questions for this trip to better prepare you for your assignment). You are then to choose 2 other pubs located in Victoria, British Columbia and compare the similarities and differences that they have with The Bard and Banker. You should include factors such as beer choice, location, inventory size and other trends to explain the diversity that we see in Victoria. For you conclusion I would like you to write 1-2 paragraphs on the growth of pub culture based on your own personal experiences and research. What challenges, or opportunities, will pubs face in the future? This is a personal assignment that has to be at least 750 words (3 pages) with proper grammar and spelling. Any information from resources must be properly resourced or a mark of "0" may be given.
