Hospice is homelike care that provides physical and emotional comfort to dying people and their families. My grandmother was in a hospice and she was made comfortable while dying. I never really understood what the difference was in that they stopped feeding her in order for her to die from starvation. To me there was no difference in what Dr. Kevorkian was doing. Whether it was assisted by injection or by starvation what is the difference? Either way you got the same results.
What are your thoughts about Hospice in light of our discussion about euthanasia? Is there a difference? Please explain
