Sinus node dysfunction is one source of the medical condition known as heart arrhythmia: irregular heartbeat. Significant arrhythmias are treated in several ways, including the use of an artificial pacemaker, which is an electrical device that sends the signals needed to make the heart beat properly. Research how both natural and artificial pacemakers operate to achieve their goal of maintaining a regular heartbeat. Place your findings in a memorandum that includes annotated sketches of each type of pacemaker.
