Use the data from the following table to populate the gantt

Download the spreadsheet, gantt-chart_L.xls, from the Files area of this course.

Open the spreadsheet and read the terms of use (on the 2nd worksheet tab)

Use the data from the following table to populate the Gantt chart. You can either treat these as individual tasks, or just make these subtasks of a single task. Either way, you'll need to read the instructions in the spreadsheet to add some rows.

(This particular set of tasks is from Jamson Chan, formerly available at https://mh-ict.vtc.edu.hk/~mtchan/cgd/ganttChartExercise2.doc)

Leave the start date for the entire project as September 7, 2015. You may set the amount completed to any reasonable value, or just leave it at 0. Put your name in the spreadsheet replacing the field Project Lead. You should only change data fields, not formulas. The data fields are all colored light green. If you think you need to change some other color field, talk to the instructor first.

In a separate document, write a paragraph or two about why you think your Gantt chart is correct. What do you like about this way of creating a Gantt chart? What do you dislike? What are some limitations that you see with this approach? What should happen when you change the length of time for Task P, Meetings for ideas, from 9 to 15 days? What actually happens?

For extra credit, read the Help section (gray colored area on the spreadsheet) and fix the spreadsheet so that it can automatically adjust dates based on the lengths of prior tasks. If you complete this, add a brief description of your changes to your report. This is worth up to an additional 2 points on this assignment.
