This assignment will allow you to try out a very easy sample Expert System. Start by going to: bttp://ex.ys.comiindex.html
Question 1: Under the "Products" tab, click on EXSYS Product FAQ's. Read "What is "Knowledge Automation?" and write several lines about what you found out.
Question 2: Scroll down and read "Why is it important to implement knowledge automation systems in today's business climate?" Briefly summarize what you learned.
Question 3: Scroll down and read, "What types of problems does Exsys Corvid knowledge automation systems help solve?"(a) Briefly explain the types of problems that can be solved - note: I am not looking for one of the "common areas" listed but an explanation. (b) What are the easiest systems to build?
Question 4: Scroll down and read "What types of industries use EXSYS knowledge automation expert systems?" and list 6 industries that use EXSYS knowledge automation expert systems.
Question 5: Scroll back up to the top of the page and under the "Sample Systems" tab, click on "Sample Systems to Run." Run one of the Demos. Tell me which Demo yok chose and write a brief discussion of a) how easy the program was to use; b)what you thought of it; c) what could be problems with using it/how could it be improved; d) provide me with a copy of the page showing the results produced by the expert system by cutting and pasting the results into a Word document (or by doing a Print Screen and pasting it into a Word Document) and submitting it with your answers. You will lose points if you do not submit the results!
