1. Examine the following electronic nursing journals
a. Workplace Health & Safety (formerly AAOHN Journal)
b. Advances in Nursing Science
c. Clinical Nursing Research
d. Journal of Advance Nursing
e. Journal of Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Nursing
f. Journal of Nursing Scholarship
g. Pediatric Oncology Nursing
h. Public Health Nursing
i. Research in Nursing & Health
j. Western Journal of Nursing Research
2. Verify that at least one of the authors is a nurse. Remember, that just because an individual works for a nursing program, there is no guarantee they are a nurse. If the credentials are not included with the article, Google the author's name. In most instances, one of the links will include the credentials.
3. Review the article using the Quantitative Research Article Identification Guide (RAIG) to help identify whether the article is an appropriate research article for the assignment and for use in the critique.
4. Once an article has been identified that meets most of the requirements. Submit Reference citation(obviously in correct APA format) with the completed Article Identification Guide, and the full-text article via the drop boxes found under the Assignments folder in Module 2. The reference citation should be placed in the textbox on the RAIG.
