Identify a belief. For illustration, you might select a religious belief, a moral value, or a political position. It can be a belief you yourself hold or one you have seen professed by other people. Give reasons for that belief. Examine the reasons by using the Socratic Method, as Socrates does with Thrasymachu's views on justice in the Republic. If the reasons comprise any logical inconsistencies which might be employed to challenge the belief.
