Create a relational database for keeping track of chemicals for a laboratory. Think about what data needs to be kept track of.
Need at least three tables
For the data:
You will use Google for data. All data should not be the same as any other student. You will need to decide which table it will apply to. (I will also give you some data to begin with)
Once you have created the tables, fields, and relationships write SQL commands to answer the following queries.
1. Find chemicals that were purchased more than six months ago
2. List all chemical salts.
3. List all chemicals that are acids.
4. Find the storage location of methanol.
5. Find the number (amount) of base you have.
6. Find the storage location of sodium hydroxide and acetic acid.
7. Find the place (company name) to order more formaldehyde from
8. List all flammable chemicals alphabetically.
9. List the amount of sodium carbonate remaining
10. List all organic chemicals alphabetically by chemical equation (IUPAC)
11. Storage considerations
12. List the safety information for ethanol.
13. List the concentration of nitric acid and hydrochloric acid
14. List molar mass of all organic chemicals and the name of the organic chemical
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also Include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
