Viruses and other infectious diseases, like Ebola, are some of the main threats to our increasingly interconnected world. Rachel asks how we can pick up infections at the onset of symptoms and provide an early warning system. What are your thoughts regarding her talk? Is what she is proposing doable? Are there any similar systems implemented anywhere around the world? In order to answer these questions, you will have to do some research on your own.
