Discussion: Counseling Psychology vs. Clinical Psychology
In this three- to four-page paper (1,050 - 1,400 words, excluding title page and references), compare and contrast the primary goals and roles of a clinical psychologist and a counseling psychologist. As you expound on similarities and differences in each of these areas, consider how their perspectives on treatment and treatment settings inform these similarities and differences. Lastly, identify which professional association each practitioner would most likely be affiliated with, then compare and contrast the two codes of ethics. Be sure in your analysis to trace ethical differences back to contrasts that you noted earlier in your paper. Also, support your facts with citations from the week's readings and at least two peer-reviewed sources from the University of the Rockies library.
