Question: Assume that you have been assigned to design a professional development program to provide y our schools mentor teachers with knowledge about adult learning and development that will be valuable in helping them assist other teachers in their schools. The program will begin with a one-day introduction of key topics. The program will include follow-up seminars and additional support continuing over a full semester.
• What critical topics regarding adult learning and development would you include in the one-day introductory workshop? Develop a schedule for the first day's program.
• What principles of adult learning would you consider when designing the one-day workshop and why are those important?
