Over the course you have worked in teams to identify, research, scope out and present a potential business model innovation. For this assignment we would like you to now take this learning and apply it on an individual basis. To do this you can use either:
• one of the case companies in the 'Growth Champions' - not already covered on the course, or
• a case, company or organisation of your choosing.
As discussed you may also wish to choose the University.
Your submission should consist of an annotated canvas/value proposition - showing how the business model would be changed. The type of innovations and patterns used should also be identified. You may submit this in any form you wish (for example, hand-drawn, Word template, power point slides, Prezzi etc, so long as it can be uploaded to MyAberdeen for review.
You should think of this as an info graphic which could be used to help you explain your proposition to a group of interested people. These people might be:
- Members of your organisation tasked with helping you realise the project
- Fellow founder of your start-up
- Interested sponsors - who might provide you will expertise and other resources.
Your annotation should contain no more than 1,500 words of text. There are many different ways you could present since.
- Graphical mindmap
- Cartoon story
- Movie storyboard
- Annotated BMC canvas
There is no need to submit this assignment to Turnitin.
The criteria against which the assessment will be judged are:
• The clarity of understanding of the original business model
• Identification and priority of areas for innovation
• The evidence used to justify areas for innovation
• The clarity of the enhanced or revised value proposition
• The clarity of the enhanced or revised business model
• Appropriate use of the tools and application of their different elements.
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also include a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also Include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
