Melissa Cooper teaches the fourth grade in a small elementary school in her rural corn. munity. She and the other teachers in her school have always used fairly conventional teaching methods. She recently attended a professional workshop on interdisciplinary instruction and would like to try using it with her class. Ms. C. realizes that making such a change in her teaching will require some discussion with her administrators and that any changes she makes could affect the other teachers in her school.
Ms. C. is considering what she will need to do before she undertakes such a change in her teaching in this small school. Help her to answer the following questions:
