Establish the importance - why should we care about poverty? Make sure you establish both of these matters- justify taking it into other disciplinary perspectives -

In this introduction give a brief overview of what you're going to talk about. Conclude the intro with an interdisciplinary thesis.
Conclusion will be restating what you said. Everything you said in the body should be concluded in the end. Talk about what is the current prevailing viewpoint. Why is this viewpoint inadequate?
Body is a road map to get to the conclusion - the reader has to be like yes this is exactly what needs to be done.
