Digital Story Telling

Motion images and multimedia have a great deal of power to convey and teaching concepts, ideas, processes. Video and multimedia provides an accessible way for teachers to include the use of motion imagery in the classroom. Like many of the tools we've studied, video and multimedia can be most effective when used by students. It allows students to convey knowledge in different ways (beyond a test or paper or static presentations).

What should your Digital Story be?

It should tell a narrative about some event or part of your life.

It should be a multimedia project. Incorporating some motion video is strongly encouragedalthough a number of techniques are encouraged.

I should be 2 or 3 minutes long.

What should not be part of your Digital Story?

It should not be a joke or a series of disassociated pranks.

It should not be instructional.

Please do not use the topic of bullying.

In this assignment, you will learn what Digital Storytelling is and make a plan for a digital story of your own.
