It's so interesting to me how much music videos have changed. I remember as a little girl looking up Brittany Spears music videos and watching them all the time. But it was kind of a struggle trying to find them. It's incredible how much technology has changed where we can just go onto YouTube and look up any music video we want and find it in seconds. With the change of technology comes the change in times as well. I feel like the music industry has changed so much as to what kind of music they're trying to release. They want a specific type of music to be portrayed in the songs that are released. And in doing so, they make specific types of music videos to go with that. Like we were discussing in class, there is so much more underlying messages in music videos that we just don't always consciously see. Just very interesting to think about.
