TEAM PRODUCT OR SERVICE DESCRIPTION
Team Dog's goal is to create a funky college caféthat offers value and variety to students and faculty.The café will be named "The Funky Triple." The "hook" to our Business Plan, as one of our team members called it, is that The Funky Triple will offer an "all-you-can-eat" salad bar with additional food & beverage items - a coffee bar and a sandwich serving area, all in one location! Most university food courts have one of each service.Students have to walk.Walk means time - student and faculty time!
Another appealing feature of the café is that it will be opened for most of the day, from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 pm.Our small cafe shop would be financially feasible to the university due to the provision of three types of food items that students and faculty generally seek during most of the day time, when we will encounter the highest customer traffic (sandwiches, salads, coffee and juice).
Students can eat a lot, especially during exam times, when anxiety and nerves kick in. They will appreciate having an on-campus hang out that will offer gourmet hot and cold foods throughout the day.All types of sandwiches will be offered and a variety of coffee flavors and salad items will be served.We will also incorporate ethnic food items to appeal to all students and faculty. The salad bar and coffee stand will be plus.
