Assignment:
All students should prepare a 3 to 5 page APA styled paper about a criminology topic that is listed below. Students should include a discussion about a current event that relates to the topic along with a newspaper (e.g. New York Times, Huff Post, Reuters, etc.) or magazine (e.g. The Atlantic), and a journal article (not website) that discusses the topic. Students should be able to demonstrate having a solid understanding of the topic.

2. Recommendation for changes in criminal justice policies to address the criminology issue (topic you choose)
5. Paper should be 3 full pages to 5 pages.
