Determine maximum work done for initial volume

Air at the inlet of an ideal (reversible-aidabatic) compressor enters through a 0.036m^2 pipe at 115 kPa. The compressor exit pressure is at 619 kPa. CALCULATE THE AREA (cm^2) OF THE EXIT PIPE if the inlet and exit velocities are equal. Assume constant specific heats evaluated at 300K.

A reversible-adiabatic (ideal) compressor is used to deliver 2.10 kg/min of high pressure air. At the compressor inlet, the air is at 100 kPa and 26.85 Celcius. The air exits the compressor at 624.2 kPa. DETERMINE THE COMPRESSOR EXIT TEMPERATURE if the air is modeled as an ideal gas with variable specific heats.

Steam at 1 MPa, 625.4 Celcius, expands in an insulated piston cylinder assembly to 0.01 MPa. Determine the maximum work (kJ) done during the process if the initial volume is 0.125 m^3
