- Complete flow chart template on selected study.
Identify a beginning point.
Measure & classify risk factors.
Measure & compare outcomes.
Flow Chart Summary - Include the following (15 points each):
Describe the general category (Descriptive or Analytic).
Describe why you selected this study design.
Describe why you chose your study population.
State the risk factors and outcomes and how you plan to measure them.
Explain the temporal element to your study.
Describe the strengths and weaknesses of your study design selection.
-First, categorize the study (analytic or descriptive)
-Second, choose study design and explain why this particular study design was chosen.
Study design could be:
· Cohort
· Case control
· Case series
· Clinical trial
-Third, identify population of interest.
- Fourth, State the risk factors and outcomes and how you plan to measure them.
- Fifth, Explain the temporal element to your study.
- Lastly, Describe the strengths and weaknesses of your study design selection.
- All the previous questions should be answered according to my study design part I (from the word doc which attached).
- The title for my study is: Cigarettes smoking in Virginia.
The paper should be two and half pages (not including references pg), double-spaced, APA format.
