Describe the features of Angiosperms.

Angiosperms (flowering plants) are the biggest Phylum in the Plant Kingdom (Angiospermophyta is as well called Anthophyta or Magnoliophyta). These plants have factual stems, roots, leaves and flowers. The roots raise into the soil to anchor the plant in place as well as take up water and nutrients. The leaves are overhead ground and act as the main organs for photosynthesis. Stems deliver above ground support for the plant as well as operate as conduits to move nutrients and water throughout the plant. Flowers comprise the male and female reproductive organs of the plant.

By these anatomical features in mind, do confident research to find an angiosperm that has modified leaves, stems, roots or flowers that don't function in the normal manner, or that function in a rare manner? Example- A California Barrel Cactus has spines in place of leaves to decrease water loss.

Describe how this structural modification helped the plant adapt to its environment. Ensure that the plant you choose is an Angiosperm. For instance, mosses, plants such as pine trees and ferns are not Angiosperms
