Jim Garrity discussed innovation and how they implemented these strategies at Wachovia. The plan that was used was to have a group of individuals think of how to create a model that could work for the company and help creative individuals have an opportunity to express their ideas to others in the company. Jim explained before this point the company had no outlets for this to occur which in his mind hinders a company as if you do not take risks the company becomes stagnant. He also embraced employees thinking outside the box which allowed advance to become possible instead of discouraging forward thinking. Do you see this as an innovative implementation strategy? Why?
