The ridigid cube in the sketch(a 1.0m tall box with a relief vavle at the top) is filled w/ air at 280K and 100kpa. the tank is fitted w/ a pressure relief vavle that will vet at 600 kpa. Heat is added until the gas just reaches that limiting pressure.

1. determine the temp. of air at limting pressure?

2. assuming that specific heat varies w/ temp, determine the change in internal energy (kJ/kg) during process;

3. determine the change in internal energy (kJ/kg) during the process if we use a constant specific heat, one that is based at 300K;

4. calculate the heat transfer to the system using both the variable specific heat and the constant specific heat data.
