Your assignment is to examine the Coca-Cola Corporation and its economic performance over the last five years. You must start with the last available reference year. Your Activity responses must be both grammatically and mechanically right, and formatted in the similar fashion as the Activity itself. If there is a Part A, your response must identify a Part A, and so on. In addition, you should suitably cite all resources used in your response and document in a bibliography by using APA style. (A 3-page response and a table are needed.)
Part A: Your paper must start with an explanation of Coca Cola. Explain the company's main competitors. Evaluate the company's performance over the past five years and document Coke's profit and market share position.
Part B: Recognize which resources, core competencies and distinctive competencies have allowed Coke to reach its level of success. Be sure to consider various measures of performance in your analysis and to compare (benchmark) the outcomes you highlight with those of Coke's competitors.
Part C: By using a VRIO framework, build a table which addresses the value, rarity, limitability and organization for each of the items you have recognized above. Be very explicit in your descriptions.
Part D: Last, examine whether the items described are likely to continue to yield a competitive benefit for Coke. Explain why or why not?
