1. Do you think having American citizens to always be conscious and be aware of their surroundings and the government constantly improving, assesing our screen procedures at the airport will help secure the homeland,if yes, why?
2. In your own opinion do you think that there are enough checks and balances within the various government agencies in the fight agaisnt terrorism in USA?
3. Do you agree that a background check in obtaining a security clearance should be different from the background check, done on people when buying a gun, if not why?
4. Aren't most of the shootings in America criminal in nature? There have been very,very few such as (such as Nidal Hasan) that can really be classified as terrorist in nature. That means the overwhelming majority are a law enforcement issue and NOT a homeland security issue. Do you agree, why, give your opinion?
5. In fighting terrorism some state or local agents might feel as though they are not on the same level as their federal counterpart, so they can't handle that kind of work. Moreover it has also been noted that, there is already distrust between other agencies, on their use of information, accountability, liability exposure concerns, security clearance and classification issues. How would you propose we handle some of these obstacles?
