Bernoullis equation by using eulers equation

Question 1: Define stream line, path line, streak line and stream tube.

Question 2: Categorize and describe various types of fluid flow.

Question 3: Describe and derive Bernoulli’s equation by using Euler’s equation.

Question 4: A pipe line carrying oil of sp. gr. 0.87 changes in diameter from 200 mm diameter at a position A to 500 mm diameter at position B which is 4 mts at a higher level. If the pressures at A & B are 9.81 N/cm2, 85.886 N/cm2 correspondingly discharge is 200 lit/S. Find out the loss of head and direction of flow.

Question 5: A 450 reducing bend is joined in a pipe line, the diameter at the inlet and outlet of the bend being 600 mm & 300 mm respectively. Find out the force excreted by water on the bend if the intensity of pressure at inlet to bend is 8.829 N/cm2 rate of flow of water is 600 lit/s.

Question 6: Describe the force excreted by the jet on moving curved vane striking at tip.
