Subnetting
1) As system administrator, you need to create 10 subnets for the Network Address: 192.168.1.0 with a minimum of 10 hosts per subnet. Room for future expansion to more subnets is desirable.
Create a table with the subnet IP address, host range addresses and broadcast IP address for each of the 10 subnets. Make sure you include the binary representation of the last Octet for all addresses. Submit a word doc table.
2) Host A has an IP address: 172.16.224.1 with subnet mask: 255.255.248.0
Host B has an IP address: 172.16.231.78
Show how the software stack (computer) figures out that the two hosts are on the same subnet.
This second questions should be a handwritten solution.
