XCOPY allows you to deploy an application by copying the application directory and all subdirectories into the target computer and then implementing the application on the client side. Application starts executing over the target computer by making use of its assembly file, which is a self-description file that consists of all the information about the application. XCOPY deployment does not have any impact on the target system during configuration of the components and registering entries, and is termed as zero-impact installation.
