What is Document Imaging

Document Imaging: It is a process for converting paper documents to digital files for archiving, transmission, document printing and production. The Document imaging starts with scanning the original paper document, permitting the document to be employed with digital applications. An illustration of this is scanning a photograph, saving the image file on the computer and then editing the image file with the software applications.
