CDMA2000 also known as IMT Multicarrier (IMT-MC) is included in the group of 3G mobile technology standards that use CDMA channel access, for sending the voice, data, and signalling the data between the mobile phones and the cell sites. The group of the standards involves: CDMA2000 1X, CDMA2000 EV-DO Rev. 0, CDMA2000 EV-DO Rev. A, and CDMA2000 EV-DO Rev. B. All are approved of the radio interfaces for ITU's IMT-2000.
