Types of connections for connecting the database
Specify the types of connections we use while connecting with the database?
Expert
There exist three types of connections namely:
a) Secured, b) Shared and c) Personal.
Secured connection is used in order to centralize and control the access to the sensitive or critical data. It refers to the safest type of connection in order to protect the access to data.
A shared connection is used in order to access the common resources for example, documents or universes. Various users may therefore use it.
Generally, a personal connection is specific to one user and may be used only from the computer on which it was created.
