Relationship among the resources: The real meaning of management is integration of different organizational resources. Resources comprise money, materials, machine and people. Management is mainly concerned with the correct use of human resources which, in turn, make use of other resources.

Working with and through people: Management includes working with people and getting the organizational objectives accomplished through them. Working via people is interpreted in terms of assigning actions to subordinates.
