The organ which liberates the women gamete is the ovary, the women gonad. The discharging of the oocyte is a reaction to hormonal stimuli. The undeveloped egg cell (still an oocyte) falls in the abdominal cavity and is picked up by the Fallopian tube (uterine tube, or oviduct), a tubular composition which connects the ovary with the uterus.
