Orientation is usually provided on the following:

(i) The importance of the job with all essential information about it together with job training and job hazard.

(ii) The company, process of production, its history and products and most important operations involved in his job.

(iii) Organization Structure: the geography of the organization and role of the different departments.

(iv) Employees own position and department and how he fits into the company.

(v)  Many programs comprise follow-up interviews at the end of three or six months with a view to find out how the employee is doing on his job.
