Molarity of sodium hydroxide

Can someone please help me in getting through this problem. Determine the molarity of a solution having 5g of sodium hydroxide in 250ml  solution is: (i) 0.5  (ii) 1.0  (iii) 2.0   (d) 0.1

Answer: The right answer is (i)

M = W / m. Wt x 1000/ volume in ml= 5x 1000/ 40x 250 = 0.5 M
